Summer School

13-17, 2005
The
Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB) is pleased to announce a summer
school on “basic bioinformatics tools and applications”.
The targeted audience of this summer school is faculty members, postdoctoral
research fellows and senior graduate students working in the field
of biological sciences with an interest in learning bioinformatics.
This five-day program will focus on applications of some of the most
basic bioinformatics tools. Each student will have a workstation to
work with to do hands-on work during the lectures. Specific topics

of these five topics will be covered in a 3-hour lecture in this five-unit
training class. The five instructors are Drs. Alex Feltus, Juntao
Guo, Dawei Lin, Jessica Kissinger, and Russell Malmberg.

Because of the limited number of available seats and computers in
the lecture room, we will be able to register only 30 students. The
registration will be open on April 7, 2005 and will be closed immediately
after all the slots are filled.
