The goal of the IOB summer visiting faculty program is to facilitate collaborations between IOB members and bioinformatics researchers from other organizations. Visiting faculty members of IOB will work with (at least) one member of IOB during the visit. Each visitor is expected to spend one month during the summer at UGA. IOB will pay for the travel and lodging expenses. At the end of the visit, a 3-page report is expected from the UGA host. Publications, as a result of this visit, should acknowledge the IOB summer visitors program.

Candidates for IOB summer visiting positions will be nominated by IOB members and approved by the IOB director. To receive full consideration for an IOB visiting position in the summer of 2005, please send a one-page application, along with a c.v of the nominee, to Ms. Ann Terka of IOB at aterka@uga.edu.
